Rose Valley chit fund scam probe: TMC MP Tapas Pal arrested

Kolkata, Dec 30 (IBNS): Trinamool Congress MP Tapas Pal has been arrested in connection with the Rose Valley chit fund scam.

After receiving notice from the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in connection with its ongoing probe into multi-crore Rose Valley financial scam, actor-turned-Trinamool Congress (TMC) Lok Sabha MP Tapas Pal along with his wife, Nandini Pal, attended the Central probe agency's office at CGO Complex in Kolkata's Salt Lake area on Friday morning, reports said.

He was arrested later.

The CBI investigators are currently interrogating the TMC MP as the agency found Pal's links with the film and entertainment division of ponzi firm Rose Valley.
