Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh to observe Vijayadashmi event sans chief guest

Nagpur/UNI; The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) this year also decided to celebrate the Vijayadashami event without any chief guest due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

RSS Chief Dr Mohan Bhagwat will address the Swayamsevaks at Reshimbagh ground here and give out a message to the cadre of the outfit and its affiliates.

The programme will be in low-key manner and around 500 people will witness the event.

The speech will be broadcast live on social media.

While efforts are on for other people to watch the address on LED screen at 40 different locations in the city.

The Vijayadashmi event has a special significance for the RSS as it was founded on this day by Dr Keshav Baliram Hedgewar in Nagpur in 1925.
