Firozabad/IBNS: A rape survivor's father was shot dead by the man who raped her last year in Uttar Pradesh's Firozabad after the family of the victim did not drop the case against him even after several threats, media reports said.

According to reports, the accused was not arrested even after filing a case in Tilak Nagar locality under North Kotwali after raping the victim, a class 11 student, last year in August.

The accused had threatened to kill the victim's father but no action was taken, said the reports.
