Rahul Gandhi meets flood-affected people in Kerala

Chengannur, Aug 28 (IBNS): Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday met the survivors of flood, which has devastated Kerala.

Rahul is on a two-day trip to the southern state. He arrived at Thiruvananthapuram this morning.

The Congress president visited a relief camp at an engineering college in Chengannur.

Sharing some pictures from the relief camp, the Congress tweeted, "Congress President @RahulGandhi meets the flood affected at the Relief Camp at the Engineering College in Chengannur, Kerala #RebuildingKerala"

The Congress chief will also felicitate fishermen who rescued several people from the dire situation. 

Kerala has been badly hit by floods in recent times.

More than 400 people have been killed in the incident.
