Rahul Gandhi hoists Indian flag at Congress headquarters on Independence Day

New Delhi, Aug 15 (IBNS): Congress president Rahul Gandhi hoisted the national flag at his party's headquarters on the occasion of 71st Independence Day in the national capital on Wednesday.

Rahul had earlier greeted the nation on the occasion of Independence Day.

He tweeted, "On this Independence Day my best wishes to all Indians. As we celebrate our independence as a nation, let us remember all those brave men and women, our freedom fighters, whose sacrifices and dedication helped us win our independence. Jai Hind."

After hoisting flag, Rahul greeted children with sweets.
