Pranab Mukherjee wishes Slovenia on eve of National Day

New Delhi, June 24 (IBNS) President Pranab Mukherjee on Friday extended his greetings and felicitations to the Government and people of the Republic of Slovenia on the eve of their National Day.

In a message to Borut Pahor, the President of the Republic of Slovenia, the President said, “On behalf of the Government, the people of India and on my own behalf, I have great pleasure in extending warm greetings and felicitations to Your Excellency and to the people of the Republic of Slovenia on the occasion of your National Day."

"Our two nations have historically shared warm and cordial relations. It is my firm belief that through our collaborative efforts this traditional bond of friendship and cooperation will grow stronger in the years to come to the mutual benefit of our two peoples," Mukherjee said.

"I would like to take this opportunity to convey my best wishes for Your Excellency’s good health, well-being and for the continued progress and prosperity of the friendly people of the Republic of Slovenia," he said.
