Policemen injured in Kashmir militant firing

Srinagar, Dec 24 (IBNS) A senior police officer and two other cops were injured when suspected militants fired at them in South Kashmir on Thursday, police said.
According to reports, the assailtants  fired indiscriminately from close range on Deputy Superintend of Police Irshad Rather and two other two cops who were on duty to follow a  Milad Procession.

“The Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), received multiple injuries in an attack and two other cops were also injured," a police officer said.
 
They injured police personnel were shifted to Sub District hospital from where they were referred to SKIMS Soura for further treatment.
