Police pick up Salman Khan's bodyguard

Mumbai, Oct 26 (IBNS): The police has picked up Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's bodyguard Shera who is facing assault charges after he allegedly hit a man and threatened him with a gun, media reports said.

According to reports, the police is questioning him.

"A complaint had been registered against Shera at the DN Nagar police station under Section 326 (voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons) and Section 323 (punishment for voluntarily causing hurt) of the Indian Penal Code," India Today reported.

The incident reportedly occurred on Tuesday night when a heated argument occurred between Shera and the complainant at a pub in Vile Parle.

Later, Shera and two other bodyguards allegedly assaulted the complainant,  media report said.
