PM Modi congratulates Sundar Pichai on being named as Google CEO

New Delhi, Aug 11 (IBNS): Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday congratulated India-born Sundar Pichai who has been named as the CEO of search engine Google.

He is the third executive of the internet search giant.

Congratulating him, Modi tweeted:  " Congratulations @sundarpichai. My best wishes for the new role at @google."

Google Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt tweeted: "Really excited about the vision and brilliance of Sundar.. he's going to be a great CEO!"

CEO of Microsoft Corporation Satya Nadella said: "Congrats @sundarpichai well deserved!"
