New Delhi, Feb 21 (IBNS): Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday said that the people want to hear  from Prime Minister Narendra Modi about scams  in the next Mann Ki Baat, a radio show hosted by the PM himself.

Rahul took to Twitter to say the people of the country are eager to hear about the recent Punjab National Bank (PNB) scam and the Rafale deal

The Congress chief even believes the PM to be well aware of the topics people want him to raise in Mann Ki Baat, which will be aired next on February 25.

Rahul's tweet reads, "Modi Ji, last month you ignored my suggestions for your Mann Ki Baat monologue. Why ask for ideas when in your heart you know what every Indian wants to hear you speak about? 1. Nirav Modi's 22,000 Cr. Loot & Scoot 2. The 58,000 Cr. RAFALE scam. I look forward to your sermon."

The PNB scam allegedly by diamond czar Nirav Modi is the biggest ever banking scam in the country.

NIrav Modi, who has taken several Letters of Understandings from the PNB failed to pay back the loans which amounts to around 22000 crore.

On the other hand, Rahul has alleged to the purchase of Rafale jets by the BJP-led central government at a higher cost than the one was fixed by the Congress during its regim.

He has also accused the government of purchasing the jets from an industrialist who is a friend of the PM.

Though the Congress President had asked the government to furnish details of the Rafale deal, Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman refused.

Sitharaman cited the deal as a "classified document" which cannot be brought into the public domain.
