Poonch, Sept 30 (IBNS): A Pakistani aircraft was spotted flying in the Indian airspace in Jammu and Kashmir's Ponch area on Sunday, media reports said.

According to reports, Indian Army officials tried to shoot down the helicopter.

As per an NDTV report, in a video, the white Pakistani helicopter is seen flying high near the side of a hill in Poonch. Sound of constant gunfire could be heard, indicating the Army tried to shoot it down.

The Pakistani helicopter, likely to be a civil aircraft, was first spotted in Indian airspace at 12:13 pm, sources told the news channel.

After the Indian Army targeted it, the helicopter flew back to  Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir or PoK, reports said.

It is still not clear whether the helicopter came to the Indian airspace by mistake or with a purpose.
