No place for weak, farmers and women in Modiji's heart: Rahul Gandhi

Chambal, Oct 15 (IBNS): Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Monday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has no place for farmers in the heart.

" There's no place for the weak, women and farmers in Modiji's heart," Gandhi said while addressing a rally in poll-bound Madhya Pradesh.

"BJP can waive off loans worth Rs. 3,50,000Cr for 15-20 industrialists. But when it comes to farmers, PM Modi says there is no money. UPA govt waived off Rs. 70,000Cr farm loans," he said.

Promising to stand beside the farmers of MP, Gandhi said: "I promised to waive off loans in Karnataka within 10 days of forming the govt. And we did it. We will do the same in Madhya Pradesh."

Assembly polls in Chhattisgarh will be held in two phases on Nov 12 and 20.

Madhya Pradesh and Mizoram will vote to elect a new Assembly on Nov 28.

Assembly polls in Rajasthan and Telangana will be held on Dec 7.

Counting of votes for all the polls will; be held on Dec 11.
