No bomb found in Turkish Airlines flight

New Delhi, July 7 (IBNS): The Centre said no bomb was found in the Turkish Airlines flight that made an emergency landing in Delhi's international airport on Tuesday.

"Threat has dissipated," said an official to media.

He said the flight will be allowed to take off in about two hours.

A total of 144 passengers and 13 crew members were present in the flight.

The plane, which was flying from Bangkok to Istanbul, was diverted to Delhi after the pilot reportedly told the Air Traffic Controllers that a message scribbled with lipstick on a bathroom mirror warned of a bomb being planted in the cargo.

The aircraft was then diverted to Delhi airport and it landed there at around 1 41 pm and all the 148 passengers were evacuated after the plane was taken to an isolated bay.

Commandos of the National Security Guard and the police are searching the plane.
