New batch of foreign representatives to visit Jammu and Kashmir: Report

| @indiablooms | Feb 10, 2020, at 10:11 pm

New Delhi/IBNS: A fresh batch of 20 foreign diplomats will visit Jammu and Kashmir this week, a Hindustan Times report said.

The foreign diplomats, including those from European countries, will visit the newly formed union territory by the end of this week, but the officials are tight-lipped about the exact date.

The report said the batch will be a larger one compared to the previous batch that visited the Jammu and Kashmir and it will include the representatives of large and small countries across the globe.

The trip-plan will be similar to the earlier programme, the reports added.

In January last, a 15-member batch of foreign envoys and diplomats visited Jammu and Kashmir for two days where they met security officials, politicians and members of civil society in Srinagar.
