New Delhi, Sept 18 (IBNS): Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi should no more remain silent after another girl was gangraped in Haryana.

Gandhi said Prime Minister's silence on the issue was 'unacceptable'.

Gandhi said it was a shame for the Centre to leave India’s women unprotected and afraid and allowing rapists to walk free.

" India hangs its head in shame as another one of its daughters is brutally gang raped. Prime Minister, your silence is unacceptable. Shame on a government that leaves India’s women unprotected and afraid and allows rapists to walk free," Gandhi tweeted.

The police have not caught the main accused in the case.

The Haryana Police on Saturday released the photographs of three accused in the Rewari gang rape case of a CBSE school topper, media reports said.

The accused also includes an Army personnel.

The police has announced Rs 1 lakh reward for information on the accused.

The army soldier has been identified as Pankaj, posted in Rajasthan.
