New Delhi, Oct 13 (IBNS): A Maharashtra BJP spokesperson has invited criticisms by describing Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the '11th incarnation' of Lord Vishnu.

Maharashtra BJP spokesperson Avadhut Wagh made the controversial tweet where he described the PM with the Hindu God.

"Hon PM @narendramodi ji is the 11th #Avatar of Lord Vishnu à¤¯à¤¦à¤¾ à¤¯à¤¦à¤¾ à¤¹à¤¿ à¤§à¤°à¥à¤®à¤¸à¥à¤¯," Wagh tweeted.
