Medical Unit inaugurated at Assam Public Service Commission office premises

Guwahati, Sept 1 (IBNS): As a part of introducing welfare measures and creating a healthy working environment, the Assam Public Service Commission on Monday launched a Medical Unit at its office premises at Khanapara in Guwahati city.

Renowned physician, Chairman and Managing Director of GNRC Hospitals, Guwahati, N.C. Borah inaugurated the Medical Unit in the presence of Chairman, APSC, R.K. Paul, Members of the Commission and other officers and staff.

N.C. Borah has volunteered to provide free manpower services in the Medical Unit.

After the inauguration, Borah also held an interaction session with the officers and staff of the Commission and offered valuable health tips to the employees of the Commission.

The Medical Unit will pave the way for day-to-day check up of its employees and also provide emergency medical care to candidates during various examinations/ interviews at APSC.
