Kolkata/IBNS: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will lead a protest march against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and National Register of Citizens(NRC) in Purulia on Monday.

The march will start from 1pm in the afternoon, reports said.

Last week, the Chief Minister had held back-to-back rallies against CAA and NRC in Kolkata.

The rally will start from Victoria School and end at Purulia taxi stand, after traversing several important points in the city, reports added.

The march will cover 3.5 kms.

According to Trinamool Congress, thousands of party activists will take part in the protest march.

Purulia city is covered with hoardings welcoming Mamata Banerjee and her stand against CAA and NRC.
