Maharashtra CM meets accident, escapes unhurt after chopper crash-lands at Latur

Mumbai, May 25 (IBNS): Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Thursday met with an accident as the chopper in which he was travelling crash landed in Latur in Maharashtra.

He was accompanied in the chopper by six other people.

However, the Chief Minister and his team escaped unhurt.

According to reports, the Sikorsky VT-CMM helicopter took off at noon from Nilanga in Latur and crash-landed close to the helipad.

Soon after the accident, Fadnavis tweeted: "Our helicopter did meet with an accident in Latur but me and my team is absolutely safe and ok.
Nothing to worry."
