Kejriwal involved in money laundering : Sacked Delhi Minister Kapil Sharma

New Delhi, May 19 (IBNS) : In a stepped-up attack, sacked Delhi minister Kapil Mishra on Friday accused Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of money-laundering.

According to media reports, Sharma said the main reason Kejriwal was opposed Prime Minister Narendra Modi's notes ban was his involvement in hawala scam.

Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has, however, denied the allegation, saying this was yet another instance of Sharma being used by the BJP in spreading lies and launching a vilification campaign.

"Why did he (Kejriwal) fiercely oppose demonetisation? Why did he travel across the country against the move? Because his men, who hoard black money, were being raided by enforcement agencies," Sharma said at a press conference.

Mishra was sacked over a week ago and later suspended by the party after he went on bombarding targetting Kejriwal with various allegations including the one that he had accepted a cash of Rs. two crore from shell companies.

Mishra also  alleged that Kejriwal is making a Delhi businessman Mukesh Kumar to claim that he had donated Rs. two crore to AAP.

"This is all an elaborate ploy to launder money, to convert black money into white," he said.

"That video will come back to bite Kejriwal because I can show that Mukesh Kumar is the sacrificial lamb here and that he didn't donate Rs 2 crore", Mishra said.
