Kapil Mishra tries to gatecrash into Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's residence, prevented by police

New Delhi, June 9 (IBNS) : In another act of the soap opera over his crusade against the ruling Aam Aadmi Party and its chief, sacked Delhi Minister Kapil Mishra on Friday tried to gatecrash into the residence of Arvind Kejriwal, but was stopped by the police, reports said.

Mishra, who has accused Kejriwal of corruption, led a group of people to reach Kejriwal's residence to meet him during the daily janta durbar.

However, security guards prevented Mishra and others from entering the premises of Kejriwal's residence even as they tried to break the barricade put up outside the house.

"We are just 15-20 people, want to meet the Delhi CM. Can't he even take out time for 15-20 people. He is refusing to meet us, this shows that he has done something wrong," Kapil Mishra told reporters.

Mishra, who held the water and tourism portfolios in the Delhi government, was first removed from the cabinet for 'non-performance'.

He was suspended from AAP after he alleged that party supremo Kejriwal accepted 'Rs 2 crore in cash' from Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain.

Since then, Mishra has been levelling various charges against Kejriwal, mostly related to alleged financial irregularities.
