Hours later another CASO at Yedipora, Pattan in Baramulla turned into an encounter when the hiding militants opened fire on the joint forces.

“Security forces are on job at both places,” police said.

The encounter comes just days ahead of Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s visit to J&K that begins from October 4.

During his visit , the Home Minister would be addressing a rally in north Kashmir's Baramulla town.
