India-Pakistan: US condemn infiltration across LoC

| @indiablooms | Mar 06, 2021, at 11:36 pm

New Delhi/Washington: The US has condemned attempts by terrorists to infiltrate across the Line of Control.

The US also supported a dialogue between India and Pakistan over Kashmir and others issues of concern.

"Well, I think we said this yesterday, but it is true that we have continued to follow very closely developments in Jammu and Kashmir," said US State Department spokesperson Ned Price.

"Our policy towards the region has not changed. We call on all parties to reduce tensions along the Line of Control by returning to the 2003 ceasefire commitments. We condemn terrorists who seek to infiltrate across the Line of Control," he said.

"When it comes to how we will support that, we continue to support direct dialogue between India and Pakistan on Kashmir and other areas of concern," the US official said.
