IAF's microlight aircraft meets accident, pilots safe
New Delhi, Oct 5 (IBNS): A microlight aircraft of the Indian Air Force met with an accident on Friday while it was airborne from Air Force Station Hindan for a routine bird reconnaissance sortie.
"The aircraft met with an accident at 0902 hrs approximately 24 Nautical Miles from Hindan Air Base," a statement from the Indian Air Force stated.
Both the pilots are safe.
A court of inquiry has been ordered by the IAF to ascertain the cause of the accident.
