Hurt but safe, says Babul Supriyo after accident

New Delhi, May 7 (IBNS): Union Minister Babul Supriyo, who was injured in a road mishap on Friday, said he was hurt but safe.

"Thank U Every1 for ALL the kind words & wishes•Just wanted 2 give my daughter a surprise ride•Helmets in place&was driving safely&then," Supriyo tweeted.

"Three cars b4 me braked super-abruptly while all of us were in high speed on the highway, me on bike•Regular accident•Hurt but safe•Love," he said giving details of the mishap.

He was admitted to  the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) for treatment. He was discharged on Saturday, reports said.
