Haryana govt to give reservation to Jat community?

Chandigarh, Feb 21 (IBNS): Amid tensions, the Haryana government has decided to grant reservation to people belonging to the Jat community in the coming budget session of the state Assembly, media reports said.

Community leaders met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh over the issue on Sunday, reports said.

At least 12 cpeople have been killed and 150 others have been injured in Haryana so far as protesters are demanding they be given government jobs under OBC quota.

Curfew has been placed amid violence in several parts of the state.
