Hardcore NDFB(S) militant nabbed from Kokrajhar

Guwahati, Apr 17 (IBNS) : Security forces on Sunday apprehended a hardcore NDFB (S) militant in lower Assam's Kokrajhar district.

Based on specific information, the Army launched a joint operation with Kokrajhar Police at Harjhora area in the Mahamaya Reserve Forest in Kokrajhar district and apprehended one hardcore terrorist of NDFB(S) from the track leading from village Harjhora to the forest.

The nabbed militant was identified as Sudem Borgoyari.

“He was wanted in Kokrajhar district in many cases of extortions and kidnappings for the banned terrorist organization,” an army official said.

One 7.65mm Pistol with magazine and few live rounds were recovered from the militant.
