Garhwa: Man beaten to death over suspected witchcraft

Garhwa, Sep 24 (UNI) A man was beaten to death over suspicion of practising witchcraft at Bulka village under Ramna Police Station area of this district.

The deceased has been identified as Koyil Bhuiyaan (55).

Police said that yesterday evening the man had gone to someone's house and on his way back he was attacked by a men who suspected him of practising witchcraft.

A severely injured Bhuiyaan was rushed to the Sadar Hospital where he died.

Later, Police sent his body for postmortem. Further probe was on.
