Former UP CM Mayawati demands judicial probe in Lakhimpur Kheri incident
Lucknow/UNI: Bahujan Samaj Party president Mayawati has blamed the BJP government for the Lakhimpur incident and has demanded a judicial probe under monitoring by Supreme court.
In a couple of tweets on Sunday night, Mayawati said," the killing of several farmers, allegedly by the son of a Union Minister, on the farmers protesting for the withdrawal of 3 agricultural laws in Lakhimpur Kheri district of UP. This shows the dictatorship and cruelty of the BJP government, which is also their real face."
1. यूपी के जिला लखीमपुर खीरी में 3 कृषि कानूनों की वापसी की माँग को लेकर आन्दोलन कर रहे किसानों पर केन्द्रीय मंत्री के पुत्र द्वारा कथित तौर पर कई किसानों की गाड़ी से रौंद कर की गई हत्या अति-दुःखद। यह भाजपा सरकार की तानाशाही व क्रूरता को दर्शाता है जो कि इनका असली चेहरा भी है।

She further said," In relation to this incident also the victims are not expected to get proper justice from the government. Therefore, the Supreme Court itself should take cognizance of this incident, which is the demand of BSP. Along with this, the local delegation of BSP was also instructed to go to the spot."
2. इस घटना के सम्बंध में भी पीड़ितों को सरकार से उचित न्याय मिलने की उम्मीद नहीं है। इसलिए माननीय सुप्रीम कोर्ट इस दुःखद घटना का स्वंय ही संज्ञान ले, बीएसपी की यह माँग। साथ ही, बीएसपी के स्थानीय प्रतिनिधिमण्डल को भी घटनास्थल पर जाने का निर्देश।
