Eyes on 2021 poll, BJP chief JP Nadda to visit West Bengal again on Nov 6
Kolkata/IBNS: In a bid to mobilise the outfit's organisation, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Jagat Prakash Nadda will make his second visit to poll-bound West Bengal in less than 20 days on Nov 6.
Nadda, who was in north Bengal on Oct 19, will be in the south Bengal district of Bardhaman where he will physically inaugurate various saffron party offices, hold meetings with district workers, "selected individuals" and hold a rally with all booth presidents.
State BJP leader Raju Banerjee has cleared that Nadda's visit is solely for the crucial state polls, scheduled to be held in 2021.
"The election is round the corner. So the meeting (with the workers) will be centred around the 2021 elections. The discussions in the meeting will take place over the party's organisation and what necessary steps should be taken," said Banerjee.
"Everyone knows about the kind of situation prevailing in West Bengal. There is no law and order in the state," Banerjee added, training his guns at the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC).

Nadda's visit has gained significance as just a day ago, Union Home Minister Amit Shah was briefed by West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar about the law and order situation in the state, though the TMC refused to give much importance to it.
Dhankhar, who is at the loggerheads with West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, made an unsparing attack on the government for an alleged lawlessness in the once-a-Left citadel.
The debate over the imposition of President's rule has also cropped up in the state after Shah in a television interview had said the opposition parties can demand such a step, though maintained his non-political stance over the matter.
The announcement of Nadda's visit is also succeeded by a setback for the BJP as Darjeeling leader Bimal Gurung on Oct 21 left the saffron party-led national coalition and vowed to support the TMC in the 2021 polls.
The development has undoubtedly caught the BJP off-guard, as the saffron party's massive success in the 2019 General Election was mostly credited to north Bengal, where Darjeeling falls.
