Delhi Election: AAP says EVMs being tampered to alter election results, posts videos

New Delhi/IBNS: Aam Admi Party(AAP) has claimed that efforts are being made to tamper with Electric Voting Machines(EVMs) after the Delhi Assembly polls concluded yesterday evening and also cited videos in support.

Senior party leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh yesterday posted videos on his twitter handle, claiming they were of EVMs being taken away illegally.

"Does the reserve (forces) not go with the EVM? This official was caught with an EVM by people at Saraswati Vidya Niketan School in Babarpur assembly constituency," he wrote in a tweet with one of the videos.

In another post with a video showing EVMs being taken away across the road, Singh wrote, "The EC should also probe where these EVMs are being taken. There are no centres nearby".

However, the Election Commission said all the EVMs were sealed in front of the elections agents of the contesting political parties and were brought directly to the strong rooms.

Exit polls have indicated AAP win by clear majority for a third term in Delhi.
