CRPF jawan injured in militant grenade attack in Anantnag
Anantnag/UNI: A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan was injured in a militant hand grenade attack in this south Kashmir district Wednesday evening, official sources said.
They further said militants hurled a hand grenade towards a security force party at Lal Chowk in the main town.
A CRPF jawan received splinter injuries in the grenade blast.
The injured was rushed to local hospital, they stated adding later security forces cordoned off entire area and launched searches.
