Country's economy was never in such a mess: Arvind Kejriwal slams Centre

New Delhi, Sept 3 (IBNS): Hitting out at the Centre over the rising price of petrol and diesel and other issues, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday said the economy was 'never in such mess' as it is now.

Kejriwal said the BJP-led Centre is not bothered about the hardships it has heaped on the common people with the current situation of the economy in the nation.

"Petrol/Diesel prices touching an all time high. Rupee falling to a historic low. BJP's Central govt, in its last months, either does not know what to do or is simply not bothered about the hardships it is heaping on Aam Aadmi. Economy was never in such a mess !."

 

 

The petrol and diesel prices have touched a new high in major cities of the country on Monday.

The petrol price rose to record high of Rs. 86.56 per litre in Mumbai.

Earlier, the highest price was Rs. 86.06 per litre.

In Delhi, the diesel price touched Rs. 79.15 per litre.

The price of diesel touched the new high at Rs. 75.54 per litre in Mumbai and Rs. 71.15 per litre in Delhi.
