New Delhi/IBNS: Hours after the Oscar awards were declared in Los Angeles, Congress announced its own list of Oscar awardees, naming its political adversaries as the top winners.

The party taking a dig at its bitter political rivals, named Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Delhi BJP Chief Manoj Tiwari as the winners in its own version of the academy awards.

In the "Best Actor in a Dramatic Role" category, Congress nominated PM Modi, Union Minister Smriti Irani and Arvind Kejriwal.

The party name Kejriwal, the winner in the category and posted a clip of his speech in which he can be seen saying: "I will never fight an election in my life and I don't want to hold any post in my life."

In another category--"Best Actor in Action Role"--Congress chose PM Modi over other nominees ---Pragya Thakur and Yogi Adityanath.

In other categories--"Best Actor in a Negative Role" and "Comedy Role", Congress gave the awards to Amit Shah and Manoj Tiwari.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal were other in line for the award in the category.

However, Congress was trolled mercilessly by the netizens for its poor sense of humour and some even suggested that the party should give these awards to some of its own members.
