Beijing, July 15 (IBNS): At least two people were killed in a blast in a bus in China's Guangzhou city on Tuesday, media reports said.

"The blast went off on a bus that was in service on route 301 at around 7:30 p.m," a spokesman with Guangzhou's public security bureau told Xinhua news agency.

According to reports, several others were injured in the blast.

"The fully-packed bus had pulled over at Nandunhe stop on Guangzhou Avenue when the blast happened," Xinhua reported quoting a witness.

The blast and the flame reportedly injured passengers who were standing at the bus stop.
