Chhota Rajan sent in CBI custody

New Delhi, Nov 7 (IBNS) Underworld don Chhota Rajan was on Saturday sent to CBI custody by a Delhi court.

Rajan, whose real name is Rajendra Sadashiv Nikalje, was brought to Delhi from Indonesian city of Bali on Friday.

The gangster, wanted in more than 70 criminal cases, was deported after being on the run for 27 years.

Rajan, once a close aide of mafia don Dawood Ibrahim, was taken to the CBI headquarters on Friday where he was subjected to a preliminary round of questioning.
