Srinagar, July 16 (IBNS) : Authorities on Saturday suspended cable TV services in Kashmir as clashes went on unabated following the encounter death of Hizbul terrorist Burhan Wani, reports said.

The move to block cable TV services has been taken to check spread of rumours-almost a routine step in the restive valley.

According to reports, curfew and other restrictions continued in Kashmir  for eight day on Saturday.

Two people, one from Kupwara and other from Kulgam, reportedly died on Friday in clashes with the police.

Cellphone and internet services are still suspended in large parts of the Kashmir.

Meanwhile, reports said police on Saturday seized copies of Kashmir's largest circulated newspaper, 'Greater Kashmir' following midnight raids.
