Blast rocks Imphal city, no casualty

Guwahati/IBNS: A blast rocked Imphal city in Manipur on Saturday evening.

According to reports, a grenade was exploded near an oil pump in Imphal at around 5-35 pm.

There is no report of any casualty in the explosion.

The grenade was exploded near Kwakeithel oil pump.

Top officials of Manipur police and other security agencies have rushed to spot and started investigation.

It is the fourth explosion in Manipur within a month.

It is to be mentioned that, two CRPF jawans were injured in an explosion took place at Lilasing Khongnangkhong in Imphal near the Assembly Complex on Friday evening.

Two CRPF jawan who were patrolling the area were injured in the blast.

Earlier, five police personnel and one civilian were injured in a bomb blast took place at Thangal Bazar area of Imphal on November 5.
