BJP-led NDA picks Venkaiah Naidu as V-P candidate

New Delhi, July 17 (IBNS): BJP-led NDA picked their senior leader Venkaiah Naidu as the nominee for the upcoming vice presidential election, media reports said on Monday.

Naidu is presently the Information and Broadcasting Minister of India.

He served several portfolios of the government earlier and also a senior member of the BJP.

Naidu will contest the V-P poll against Opposition's candidate Gopal Krishna Gandhi.
