Bihar: Maoists gun down youth

Aurangabad, Nov 8 (UNI) Dreaded Maoists shot dead a youth in a forest area by accusing him of being a police informer under Deo police station area in the district today.

Police said here that extremists of outlawed CPI (Maoist) called out the youth identified as Sunil Paswan (35) from his residence at Pasia Bhandari village and compelled him to accompany them to the forest area before gunning him down.

The youth was branded a police informer in a kangaroo court held by ultras before he was killed.

Police said the body had been sent to Aurangabad Sadar Hospital for autopsy. Raids were being conducted to nab the accused.
