Assam : Three killed in road accident

Guwahati: At least three people, including a child, were killed and three others were injured in a road mishap in Assam’s Nagaon district on Wednesday.
The incident took place on the National Highway 37 at Naharubasti area near Kaliabor in the central Assam district.

According to the reports, a speedy car bearing registration number AS-02T-4775 was coming from Jorhat to Nagaon, had lost control and hit a roadside parked truck.

Three people including a child travelled in the car were killed on spot and three others injured.

The injured persons were immediately admitted at Jakhalabandha civil hospital and later they were referred to Tezpur Medical College and Hospital.

The deceased persons were identified as Nazma Begum, Elisa Hazarika and Nayan Baishya.
