Guwahati/IBNS: In a shocking incident, a doctor was brutally beaten up by a mob after a COVID-19 patient died in the central Assam’s Hojai district on Tuesday.

The incident took place at Odali COVID-19 care centre in Hojai district.

According to the reports, after the death of a COVID-19 patient at the centre, the relatives of the deceased patient had brutally beaten the doctor Dr Seuj Kumar Senapati who was on duty.
