New Delhi, Feb 23 (IBNS): Putting the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) into more trouble in Delhi, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's key aide VK Jain has confirmed an assault on Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash by two AAP lawmakers, media reports said.

Jain told the city court that he has witnessed the assault of Prakash on Monday night, report said.

The court is expected to deliver its verdict today.

The government officials have denied to attend any meeting called by Delhi ministers until Kejriwal apologises for the assault on Prakash.

The alleged assault occurred during a meeting at Kejriwal's Civil Lines residence.

Meanwhile, AAP  leaders Sanjay Singh and Ashutosh during a press conference have said, "We are being hounded".

On the basis of Prakash's complaint, the Delhi Police had registered an FIR against AAP MLAs Khan and Jarwal.

A Delhi court on Wednesday rejected the petition of police for custodial interrogation of Khan and Jarwal.
