Army foils infiltration bid in J&K's Poonch sector, kills intruder

Srinagar, May 28 (IBNS): The Indian Army on Sunday foiled an infiltration bid along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch Sector of Jammu and Kashmir and killed the intruder, media reports said.

The body of the intruder has been recovered by the army officials.

Meanwhile, curfew has been imposed in several parts of the Kashmir Valley over the killing of Burhan Wani's successor and Hijbul commander Sabzar Bhat.

The Kashmir Hurriyat has also called for a shutdown on Sunday.

Internet service has been blocked in the Kashmir Valley following the killing of Sabzar Bhat on Saturday
.
Bhat was among eight terrorists killed in separate encounters in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday.
