Shah arrived at Guwahati last night and was welcomed at the airport by state Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and others.

He flew in a special helicopter to Sitapur in Chirang this morning. He is being accompanied by state Health Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma and state BJP chief Ranjeet Kumar Das.
