After three killed over CAA protests, internet suspended in Mangalore, Lucknow

Mangalore/Lucknow/IBNS: After three people were killed following the violent protests against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019, across the nation, internet services are kept suspended in Mangalore and Lucknow for 48 hours from Thursday night, media reports said.

In Mangalore, two people were killed in police firing on Thursday.

A curfew has been declared in the city of Karnataka till Saturday.

In Lucknow, internet will remain suspended till Saturday noon.

The protests against the CAA swept across the nation on Thursday with several agitations turning violent.

In Lucknow, several police posts were torched and bikes kept outside the posts were set on fire.
