AAP leader Sanjeev Singh joins Congress

Lucknow/UNI: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supervisor and Purvanchal convenor Sanjeev Kumar Singh joined Congress along with his supporters on Thursday.

Party's state unit president Ajay Kumar Lallu and former MP Rajesh Mishra were present on this occasion.

Sanjeev Singh began his career in student politics at Alllahabad University was the founder-member of Aam Aadmi Party and has led many movements in Purvanchal.

On this occasion, Ajay Kumar Lallu said that owing to the anti-people policies of the Yogi government in the whole state, the public is perturbed. Crimes and corruption are at their peak.

Under the leadership of Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, a fight is being put up against the anti-people policies of the BJP. Able and young leaders like Sanjeev Kumar Singh will strengthen our struggle, he averred.

Sanjeev said that after being inspired by the policies and ideology of the Congress party, he has assumed the membership of the party. Under the leadership of Vadra and Singh, a fight will be put up to make a better society and country and battle every injustice.

The AAP has has abandoned its idea of Swaraj and internal democracy, he alleged.
