Tata Teleservices' Anjali selected for International Antarctic Expedition 2015 for Climate Change and Sustainability

New Delhi / Kolkata, Mar 10 (IBNS): Tata Teleservices Limited on Tuesday said that one of its employees, an officer of the Tata Administrative Services, Anjali Birla has been selected for the International Antarctic Expedition for Climate Change and Sustainability 2015.

 This is organised by globally renowned organization 2041 founded by legendary Polar explorer, environmental leader and public speaker, Robert Swan, OBE. 

The mission 2041 as popularly known will start from Argentina on Mar 13 where Anjali Birla along with 80 other participants including World Leaders, Environmental Experts and other Youth Ambassadors from 28 different nationalities will have the opportunity to explore the continent’s ecology.

Commenting on Anjali’s selection, Usha Rangarajan, Chief Transformation Officer, Tata Teleservices Limited, said “We are proud of Anjali’s participation in this expedition. At Tata Teleservices, sustainability and social responsibility are core considerations, in keeping with the ethos of the Tata group, of responsible business growth.
