A 23-year-old Delhi-based content creator has shared how she quit her Rs 60,000-per-month job to pursue content creation, earning Rs 1.12 lakh through brand collaborations in September.

The creator, identified as Upasana, said September was her highest-earning month since she began her content creation journey more than a year ago.

Upasana, who has around 14,000 followers online, secured six brand collaborations during the month. These included one user-generated content (UGC) collaboration that paid her Rs 15,000.

The remaining five collaborations earned her a combined Rs 97,000, taking her total September earnings to Rs 1.12 lakh.

Sharing her experience on Instagram, she said she had decided to leave her job, which paid her Rs 60,000 a month, to pursue content creation full-time.

However, she clarified in the caption that she had not yet received the money, as brands operate on different payment cycles.

"I have not received the amount yet though, because brands work on different payment cycles," she wrote.

Her post attracted a range of reactions, with several users congratulating her and sharing their own content creation journeys.

"Congrats girl! I made 50k this month :)" one Instagram user commented.

"Another motivation for me to start content creation asap!" another user wrote.

A third commented, "Congratulations. Instagram does do wonders. I am on my journey to do the same."
