PM congratulates CBSE class 10 exam pass outs

New Delhi, May 28 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday congratulated students who have cleared Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) class 10 board examinations.

"To all my young friends who passed the CBSE Class X exams- Congratulations & best wishes for the continuing academic journey," Modi tweeted.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Thursday announced the results of Class 10 board examinations.

A total of 97.82 per cent of girls have qualified in the examination while 96.8 percent boys have cleared it.

This year, 94,474 students scored  10 Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA).

According to a CBSE statement, a total of 13,73,853 students were enrolled for the Class 10 board examination.
